On a lighter note...
I'm watching Rock Star INXS now, because the hurricane coverage was making me very sad (see below), anyway, WHAT is with Brooke Burke's hair and her thigh high white boots? Did we all get into a time capsule and travel back to the 80's? Could we get back in and travel somewhere else?

Damn I knew there was something I was supposed to watch last night; my sister will kill me! She has been beggin' me to watch this show so that she has someone to talk about it with. I'll have to tell her I watched and mention the boots ..... boots, Brook, hair, white .... got it!

Brooke Burke seems like one of those 'below the radar screen' starlets. Oh sure, she's on TV a lot and on magazine covers and in Burger King commercials. And yet, it doesn't feel like she has the stature of, say, those Simpson chicks or Paris Hilton, America's hottest retard. Oh well.
Perhaps her outfit will add to her profile or something. 'Cause, you know, we're talking about her on a blog.

I hate to break up y'all's party, but thigh-high boots are not from the 80's, thank you very much. Being a child of that era myself, we may have had parachute pants, big hair, leg warmers, MTV (when it actually played music videos), and seen the birth of digital music (CD's), we did not have thigh-high go-go boots, okay? Those are a product of the late 60's.
Just thought I'd mention it, you know.

Regarding the thigh high boots.... I think the only reason they sucked was because they were white and worn with jeans. I remember sportin those in my prekid hard rock days....which was the early 90's and not the 60's
