Did you SEE the Chinese team skate their long program?? Did you SEE how hard she landed on her leg? It looked like she broke it for sure and THEN she got up again and they continued their routine and won a silver medal. It was UNBELIEVABLE. Really.

In other news a Canadian magazine decided it would be a good idea to publish those cartoons that are making the world blow up. Good call. I mean couldn't you just let it go and move on? If they start blowing shit up around here in protest I'm going to kick your ass, if I'm not blown up.

Oh, and enjoy your VD. Bah Vumbug. (Yeah I made that up just now. Maybe I'll patent it and make Bah Vumbug cards - oh yeah, I'm going to be rich.)

how can you blow a jump (which they did) and get a re-start (it did look like it hurt. A lot)? You don't get extra points for completing your program. They should not have received a medal.

I don't watch the Olumpics. CSI Miami seems to hold my attention better.

I'd use Bah Vumbug a lot more if I knew how to use it. You can't just go patent a new word, and stuff. You gotta write up complete documentation on its proper use, when and where it's approprite to use it, and all that. For instance, would using Bah Vumbug be appropriate at a formal dinner party where my mother is present, and she's wearing yellow? I gotta know these things before I start using stuff, you know.

Robin, my husband will NOT let us watch anything that has to do with ice, even if it IS the Olympics.

If you're worried about being bombed, come on down here.

No, wait. I take that back. I'm sure we're soooooooooooooooo not any safer.

Happy V-Day!

I hereby order you to go get drunk w/ your friends!

I'm with you on the "Why the fuck print those stupid cartoons?" sentiment. If people want to see them, they can already find them. We don't need some redneck magazine from Shitsville raking the muck. Yes, you have the freedom to print these cartoons. Accept it and publish more "We Love Ralph Klein" articles already.

Bah Vumbug to you too.

I saw how she landed and I was astonished. I turned the channel to the Olympics right after she fell so I didn't know how bad it was until the replay, and wow, what a fall it was. I have no idea how she got back up and skated after that. Courageous and full of adrenaline, I guess. Amazing.

Happy V-day Robin! I say that like it's a real holiday. I thought Canadians were smarter than that. Buying into our Imperialist corporate holidays. You don't believe in that sweetest day thing too do you? Maybe your new PM will institute a new national valentine's program. Everyone will get a valentine, but you';ll have to request it nine months ahead. Bash Vumbug to you too!

But I don't have a VD - and even if I did I don't know how I'd enjoy it.

Oh...you meant Valentine's Day, didn't you? Erm...never mind.

Anyway, I'm sure you're awash in roses and candy by now. Hope you have a great day.

once there was this "for better or for worse" cartoon that really offended me. the media never caught wind of my displeasure, but i took all my kid's toy cars and dumped them all over the living room floor!

i didn't see the figure skating you were referring to. i don't have a lot of interest in figure skate since the days of behind-the-scenes thugs who attack innocent female figure skaters with iron bars.... ahhhhhh, the good old days.....

When the Chinese woman left the ice, the Chinese government replaced her with the clone they keep of all national atheletes.

I tell the wife that I would watch ice skating........if the women were naked.

I don't know about her fall, but I fell off the toilet last night and couldn't reach my beer. Luckily I belong to "Beer-Alert." They saved my buzz. Oh and sorry, I read in National Geograffic that the term Bah Vumbug has been seen on Arcturan cave paintings that date back to the mid 1950s so you are out of luck. Bah Vumbug to you too dear.

Binsk, happy VD to you, too! Being that I'm a guy, it took me a few hours to fully realize what VD was. So I apologize for not wishing it on you sooner.

I don't advocate getting drunk, though. It makes you do silly things. Like jump up on a table in some public place, rip all your clothes off and start dancing around naked singing Copacobana.

Not that this has ever happened to me...

Happy Valentines' Day, Hockey Girl!

VD is like a bowl of grape nuts. You don’t want to but the consequences are just too great. So for those of you that "have" to celibrate VD: Eat your cereal and shut up, there are people in the world that don’t have cereal to eat. lol
The reason we love you, Binsk, is because you don't wear those clothes, in fact, the reason is most likely because you wear so little clothing. ;) Happy VD, cutie.
