This is a little white house in the middle of a huge field in my town. I've driven by it a million times but it was so far back from the road (and over a fence and through bushes that are up to your neck) that I never got around to taking any pictures until today. It has always called to me.
On Route 80 in between Ohio and New York City, somewhere in the middle of PA there is an abandoned family restaurant that looks cool as hell.
We stopped once and went inside.
There was a piano that had not been touched for years, various shoes, boots, busted out windows, and in the back room, a recently used couch with blankets and empty beer bottles nearby.
...yeah, I do that too...I've got a bunch of places and things that I've marked in my head to take pictures of, but I'm usually too lazy to actually get my ass out of the car and do it...and the list grows and grows...
Loved the photos, Binsk! But hell, I love all your photos. Especially HNT! Hey, about your background... What are those, anyway? Beads? Mutant Cheerios? Bagles? How about papayas that have been bleached and hollowed out? I mean, it's cool looking and all, but just wondered what they were.
as i drive through s. ontario, i ofthen wish i had my camera with me. i love looking at old, unbalanced barns, and i've thought that i'd like to take pictures for a coffee-table book - barns of ontario ;) there's one on hwy 6 that had more gaps than wood panelling. i never took a photo, then the last time i went by, it had collapsed... figures. glad you got some shots of this house.

Keep up the good posts; I love checking them out.
I'm glad you actually stopped by and took photos. It takes a lot to stop the car and just look around.
Beautiful shot. It would be a nice place to tell ghost stories on Halloween night!
This is too cool. I love these shots! I love creepy old buildings like that. You wander around inside & just wonder of the story it has to share.

I love places like that:)

i have to find these pictures that my best friend took of a house near where i live so i can show them to you. i think you'll appreciate them.
It definitely calls to me, too! Thanks for posting these!
I love shooting abandoned buildings. The first shot should totally be framed, Binsk!

Pretty cool place there... What side of the tracks is it on???
It's on the east side of Trafalgar a little north of Dundas...it's way back from the road in a huge field.
Those are great pix.
