Maternal lineage is flawless. That female came out of that female came out of that female.

Paternal lineage is sketchy. That male came out of that female that may or may not have been sneaking around with a different male. And then that baby male (of questionable heritage) has a baby, or at least he thinks he does. Stupid. Cracked system.

This sums up why I think men should take women's names when they get married.

I would seriously consider keeping my own name should I ever get married. My name is beautiful (thank you parents) and JaB's name just sucks.

Try telling that to Mr. Sass...I went from run of the mill last name to a run of the mill last name that is german and a swear word..kind of.

Two of my oldest friends took the woman's last name when they were married. She thought it was odd, he thought it was great because they were closer to her family.
