If you have a band and you are on MySpace, I don't want to be your friend, unless I have met you or told you I like your band.

If you are a comedian and you are on MySpace, I don't want to be your friend, unless I have met you or told you I like your act.

If you are some dude from Nebraska and you are on MySpace and your catch phrase is "Da Bears", and all your "friends" are pleasantly plump girls wearing lingerie or eating cherries I don't want to be your friend. Period.

Have I mentioned that I still do not get MySpace? Do you?

And why the hell is it MySpace with no space???

Riddle me that Batman.

And what is this "Thanks for the add" thing?

Can one of you wizard banner maker type people please make me a "Stop asking me to be your friend I don't even know you." banner?

Aces.

I too have no freaking clue what MySpace is about. I don't get it. But I have a space... I have no idea what to do with it, but I have it. We're sheep. That is all. Just sheep.

when friendster was today's myspace it held my interest for a short time. when everyone was like omg you have to get on myspace i was all like isn't that just the same bullshit as friendster? now it's populated by irritating templates and bullshit and it's a stupid waste of time. i mean if it hadn't got totally oversaturated and was still like friendster was then ok cool, but it's just fucking boring ass hard to read profiles and band promotion. the whole "thanks for the add" sums it all up... more like "i don't know who the fuck you are and you don't know who the fuck i am and we probably won't ever talk again after this but add me and i'll add you and then we can appear to be more popular, deal?"

lame.

I have myspace, but I don't get caught up in all that hooplah crap. My page is simple ~ no videos, but I do have a song on there.

Agreed...I can't stand MySpace. I went on it once to see what all the hype was about and I just didn't get it. LAME!

Hey Robin, thanks for the add!

Kidding.

I don't have a banner for you, but one of my fake Nicky Hilton profiles has "just ask for an autograph and go away" as the quote beside her photo. That might work, too.

Have you noticed the difference between blogging on MySpace and blogging here? People on MySpace don't seem to get that blogs are often just a joke and not a diary. I feel like I'm pouring out wine and and pigs are drinking it.

Astute observations, indeed. Myspace is a puzzling construction that I both love and loathe. 'Thanks for the add' is probably my favourite asinine comment since the UH OH! sound effects of ICQ. Ah, those were the days.

And that video is pretty much Jon Stewart at his very best. Neat photos, too. Shades of early Cindy Sherman.

Great blog you've got here!

I have myspace simply because some of my friends have it as their only blog.
I'm not there to make friends with random people I don't know. I've looked up some old friends from high school, and that's about it.
I really wish they'd all get real blogs and get the hell off there so I could too...sigh.

You're my friend though and that makes myspace better for me?

Even better when people say:

"Binsk? She's cute! Do you really know her?"

I smile and say:

"Yes, I do"

Everyone's a winner!

I do not get MySpace either, I have a MySpace but swear by everything unholy I can't imagine why.

Never got the thanks for the add nonsense either. It's just annoying.

I'm well, Binsk, thanks for stopping by the blog. Well I'm not really so great but I'm not here to complain, that's what my blog is for.

Now for what's really important, how did you score a low on lust?

If you still really want that banner Binsk, I can make one for you. Might be fun to do. ;)

I would LOVE it Outburst.

And if you are feeling particularly creative you could do a banner for my blog too...mine is so hokey and blah.

Thanks bud.

I'll try and have it done over the weekend.
